Khwendo Kor is working in southern, northern and central geographical areas in KP and FATA. Civil rights, Education, Health, Economic empowerment are the main programmes of Khwendo Kor with Viable Village Approach. Social Mobilization, Human & Institutional Development, Environment and Gender are the cross cutting themes.

KK has a strong and diverse portfolio supported by national and international donors. Currently the KK team consists of 110 staff members of whom more than 50% is female.

Objectives of the training

To enhance the capacity of stakeholders/ service providers (including lawyers, doctors, police men and women,
social welfare officers) on basic concepts of GBV especially in humanitarian settings and case management

a. Duration: One Day

b. Date: June 2016

c. Venue: Kohat

d. Language: Urdu/English

e. Content and module: To be provided by the Consultant

The sessions and course content will cover the following topics

* Definition of GBV
* Types of GBV
* Root Causes and Consequences of GBV
* Prevention & Response of GBV in emergencies.
* Case management/documentation



f. Methodology

*The methodology of the training will be participatory and experiential including group works etc

g. Required Expertise for the Consultant: (Male/Female)

1. Consultant should have in-depth and strong knowledge regarding GBV response, particularly in emergencies.
2. Masters in Social Sciences.
3. Proven knowledge of social & development sector particularly in the fields of capacity building and knowledge about GBV issues.
4. At least three years experience in delivering capacity development trainings
5. Expertise in development of training modules.
6. Fluency in English/Urdu and Pashto.



h. Resource persons responsibility

* To deliver the training within time frame.
* Developing training report, training contents and module.


i. Payment plan:

* Upon the completion of training course 75% of the total payment
* Upon submission of final training report 25% of the total payment
