  Khwendo Kor's Introduction:
Khwendo Kor (KK) is a non profit, non government and non partisan organization striving for development of the women and children, strong families and communities progressive society . KK is a Pushto word meaning Sister's Home. The organization came into being in February 1993 and is registered under Societies Registration Act. 1860. KK drawing its strength from communities' active involvement in need driven development process through a participatory development initiative.

Khwendo Kor distributed 25 cooking stoves in Balakot on pilot basis. This project is funded by Friends of Khwendo Kor, UK
